Now the media’s eye has been caught by the styling chosen by Agata Duda for the presidential couple’s New Year’s meeting with the diplomatic corps.
How are Agata Duda’s stylizations created?
The first lady wore a black maxi dress designed by Dorota Goldpoint. The designer recounted in an interview with the Hawk Post website that the sewing of this gown was planned well in advance. This is not surprising, looking at how elaborate the details are. The concept was to be appropriate for a formal meeting, but also to reflect the carnival frenzy.
The dress was sewn from black sequin lace, it is a relatively new type of fabric, it does not look like lace, but it is. Part of the design is covered with sequins, arranged in the shape of medallions. Geometric elements of the fabric add a modern touch to the creation. The dress had a Spanish neckline, which subtly revealed the shoulders. Black feathers sewn in an original way decorated the neckline. The gown emphasized the waist and gently flared out towards the bottom. The 3/4 sleeves added lightness to the silhouette. The stunning effect was achieved by creating perfect hourglass proportions
– explained in an interview with Jastrząb Post.
