Not only First Lady for official outings most willingly chooses Dorota Goldpoint’s outfits. They are also loved by our celebrities, including Bozena Dykiel, who is friends with the designer. But these ladies have more in common than just love for beautiful creations. Both have strong characters, are not afraid of their own opinion, are very hardworking and consistent in pursuit of their goals. Therefore, they understand and support each other.
Bożena Dykiel has had many great roles in films and theater. At the National Theater as Goplana, she rode onto the stage on a motorcycle with flair in Adam Hanuszkiewicz’s famous staging of “Balladyna.” She was the unforgettable Mada Muller in “Promised Land” and Kasia in “The Wedding.” Films : “Znachor”, “Miłość ci wszystko wybaczy”, “Wyjście awaryjne” and series “Dom “, ” Noce i dnie”, ” Alternatywy 4″. , ” The Forty-Year-Old” and many, many others brought her immense popularity, which invariably continues to this day. For 20 years she has played one of the leading roles in the series ” Na Wspólnej”. But even at the height of her career, when she moved from set to set, she perfectly combined the role of wife and mother with her professional work. She always stresses that more important to her than her career was the home she created in Izabelin, near Warsaw. – It is he who gives strength. I learned this from my mother. I remember her bustling around the kitchen. She used to cook deliciously. At my house, too, it must smell from the threshold of baked cakes, jams, starched linens and flowers – she says. In order to build her dream house at a time when building materials were hard to come by, she even set up a company for a while to deal with this very assortment. As a great hostess, Ms. Bozena is also known for her cooking programs. She has also published several cookbooks.
Is it any wonder, then, that such an enterprising person has found common ground with Dorota Goldpoint, who also keeps setting new goals for herself? – I am a creative person, I get bored quickly with ordinary things. I know how much I am moving forward, and I feel that hardly anyone can keep up with me. This is the biggest challenge, to have people next to me who are the engine and not the anchor, who follow and keep up with me, and this is quite difficult, because I really work very intensively and a lot. I am perfectly organized and extremely efficient in my activities – she says bluntly. Designing brings her a lot of satisfaction, but in order to constantly develop herself for her 50th birthday as part of the Inner power project, she wrote a book called “Heart has no wrinkles,” which, as a psychologist and psychoanalyst by training, pays tribute to mature women. – Maturity is beautiful when understood and accepted. My desire is to show and consolidate in the public consciousness the strength and immense inner power that mature women have within themselves. The symbol of “The Inner Power” project is a woman tree – for a tree to have beautiful flowers and fruit, it must have strong and healthy roots. Women 50 plus are just such. Their secret weapons are the inner balance and experience they have gathered throughout their lives – she argues.
Wanting to use her potential and her inner power, and share it with other women, including those who need support, she established the foundation “Serce nie ma zmarszczek”, where she pursues the aforementioned goals. Like Bożena Dykiel, she perfectly combines activities on many different levels. She recently established a company in Dubai, where she is appreciated and awarded. – Everyone goes to Paris and Milan, and I have also had many shows throughout Europe, but I always look for non-standard solutions. Dubai is a gateway to the world, to Saudi Arabia and Asia. That’s where the future of the fashion business is, and as we know the fashion business is going to change a lot now because from 2030 we’re going to have sustainable fashion certifications. Therefore, this is a very important part of further development, which in my company was actually in the DNA of the brand from the beginning. I have always sewn with natural fabrics, biodegradable, I believe that you should buy less, but such clothes that are a kind of investment in building your closet. I find Arab countries with a different approach to life than in Europe interesting. – he confesses.
Recently, the Staszic Palace in Warsaw hosted a conference entitled “The Future is a Woman,” organized by its “Heart Has No Wrinkles” Foundation as part of the “Mothers, Sisters, Friends” project. The meeting discussed the place of women and their role in the public space. Each speaker presented her own perspective from the level of different backgrounds. It was an unusual cultural event, where well-known and respected names from the world of business, politics, culture and art were involved. Special guests of the conference were Ms. Dorota Bojemska – Chairman of the Family Council at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, Ms. Aneta Mijal – Director of the Legal Department at the Ministry of Development and Technology, Ms. Marta Machalska – CEO of iPRO Sp. z o.o., Digital Learning Strategist, and Ms. Marta Borkowska-Olszewska – CEO of Talent Chase Sp. z o.o. Among the listeners there was Bożena Dykiel.
The aim of the project is to spread the idea of supporting women, taking care of their inner development and emphasizing their important place in society. The project carries an important message from Dorota Goldpoint, a designer, but also a businesswoman and president of a foundation supporting women.
You already know that “the heart has no wrinkles”. We have talked about this many times….
You also know that maturity gives such an inner power that we did not expect to find in ourselves when we were younger….
Admit that it’s a beautiful feeling….
We are a pillar of the world – as mothers, wives, sisters and friends.
In this role they want to see us…
We are also leaders and wheels of change – although this role does not necessarily please the world. Today I come to you to open your eyes to this extraordinary power.
To the power of survival that allows us to move forward.
On the will to fight, which does not allow us to stand still.
On intuition, which – backed by determination – allows us to see more and reach higher.
Finally – on the power of community – without which, alone, we are like lonely white sails.
Because only true sisterhood, the combination of our inner powers, will allow us to break glass ceilings, break stereotypes and make our voice heard in the public space.
I come to you with my voice and the voice of other women, and please – speak with us.
Let’s talk together about how beautifully different we are. About how many roles society has assigned to us.
About how to reconcile them while not driving ourselves into guilt.
About the fact that none of us is perfect – and therein lies our beauty.
About the fact that – contrary to patriarchal stereotypes – the world would really stop without us.
Finally, about the fact that each of us deserves an equal opportunity professionally, socially, financially. Let’s create the “Heart Has No Wrinkles” platform, through which our collective voice will be heard and stereotypes broken.
Thanks to which we will jointly call for equality in life, at work and in public space.
The more of us there are, the stronger this voice will be.
Let’s take care of each other, give each other courage and support each other on this road to an inclusive world where every voice has equal importance.
Let’s speak up clearly. Let us be heard. I look forward to hearing from you,
Dorota Goldpoint”
