Andrzej Duda and Agata Kornhauser-Duda arrived in London to attend one of the most important ceremonies in the history of the British monarchy – the coronation of Charles III.

May 6 will certainly go down in British history. It was on this day that Charles III was officially crowned king. In addition to members of the royal family, the ceremony at Westminster Abbey was attended by leaders from 60 countries around the world, crowned heads, as well as British politicians and celebrities.

Poland was represented by the presidential couple. Andrzej Duda chose a classic black suit and a white shirt and gray tie. Agata Kornhuser-Duda also opted for a classic, yet elegant styling. The First Lady appeared in London in a cream knee-length dress and a white hat with a veil. She matched it with beige stilettos and a light-colored handbag. The whole was complemented by a coat, also in cream color.

The day before, the presidential couple attended an exclusive reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Charles III and King Camilla.

Guests at Charles III’s coronation included King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and his daughter Princess Victoria, as well as King Philip and Queen Letizia of Spain.

Also attending the event were British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy, and Canadian leader Justin Trudeau with his wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau. Jordan was represented by King Abdullah II and Queen Rania and Monaco by Prince Albert and Princess Charlene. Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Mette Marit also arrived in London.

Ukraine was represented by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and First Lady Olena Zelenska and France by Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte. A visit to the UK was not planned by Joe Biden, while the coronation was watched by US First Lady Jill Biden.
