Dubai World Cup is the most important event of the horse racing world. It gathers horse enthusiasts, business, cultural and artistic personalities from all over the world, including the Royal Families of the Arabian Peninsula.
This year’s semifinal was highlighted by a show of the latest collection by Polish designer Dorota Goldpoint. The “Open Mind” collection features cocktail dresses in beautiful pastels. It is dominated by blues, peaches, pistachios and yellows. Some of the creations are perfect for prestigious horse races. The designer complement her collection with the headwear obligatory for the occasion. The inspiration for the collection of fascinators was a woman’s corset, which – presented in a very futuristic form – astonished the audience.
The Dubai World Cup 2023 is accompanied by unique social, artistic and fashion events. On March 25 took place not only awaited final race, but also an international fashion competition – Style Stakes.
It was a true celebration of fashion, a moment to sum up and celebrate the participation of fashionistas and influencers at the Dubai World Cup. The celebration of a marriage of the worlds of sports, sophisticated elegance and style, and an elite networking platform.
The Style Stakes featured competitions in five categories: Best Dressed Woman, Best Dressed Man, Best Dressed Couple, Creative Hat and Best National Costume. Dorota Goldpoint has been among the sponsors of the competition.
During the Dubai finale, the Polish designer presented also her own brand in an extremely original form, referring to Polish tradition, culture and art. Especially for this day, Dorota Goldpoint, thanks to her cooperation with Debutantes (an educational and charitable program aimed at developing the social, historical and aesthetic sensitivity of young women), brought from her mother country authentic Polish nobleman’s costumes made by Monika Moskwa – Costume Designer from the Higher School of Art. The costumes were presented on models. The designer added a pinch of Polish spirit to the whole event through the scenography from the historic Krasiczyn Castle. Each guest could take a photo with a ‘Polish Queen’ sitting on the royal throne. Even on the other side of the world they could feel the magic of the Polish Noble Republic.
Dorota Goldpoint treated the participants of the event with Polish sweets and gave them a piece of history immortalized in beautiful photo-albums presenting the Castle in Krasiczyn and Baranów Sandomierski, prepared by the Industrial Development Agency JSC. The audience could also watch films by the Polish National Foundation showing Polish noble buildings and national heritage. The designer went to great effort to ensure that guests would feel traditional Polish hospitality, heart and soul.
Dorota Goldpoint’s mission is to open the eyes of the world to Polish tradition and culture, so she was happy to take the guests of the Dubai World Cup on an extraordinary journey back in time to ancient Poland.
Participation in this extraordinary event was possible thanks to the support of our Partner – Industrial Development Agency JSC and Donor – Polish National Foundation.
